An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for a youthful, driven automotive leader to take on a Dealer Principal role at a growing multi-brand dealership. This position is ideally suited to either an experienced New Car Sales Manager ready to step up, or a young Dealer Principal (1–3 years’ experience) looking to take full ownership of a developing dealership with significant growth potential. Backed by a highly supportive OEM offering substantial marketing investment and brand development support, this dealership is positioned for expansion — and requires the right leader to unlock its full potential.

 

The Opportunity

This is not a “maintain the status quo” role — it’s an opportunity to build, grow, and shape a dealership.

With a small, focused team already in place, you will have the ability to:

  • Drive strategic growth across multiple brands
  • Build a high-performance sales culture
  • Leverage strong OEM marketing support to increase market share
  • Put your own stamp on the dealership’s success

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Full operational and commercial responsibility for the dealership
  • Drive new vehicle sales performance and overall profitability
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small but ambitious team
  • Implement sales strategies aligned to OEM growth plans
  • Oversee marketing initiatives and campaign execution
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brand representation
  • Manage budgets, performance targets, and reporting

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a franchised motor dealership environment
  • Either:
    • A Senior New Car Sales Manager ready to step into a DP role, or
    • A Dealer Principal with 1–3 years’ experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and leadership ability
  • High energy, ambition, and a growth mindset
  • Ability to work hands-on in a developing dealership environment
  • Stable work history and strong track record
